President and CEO
Ephraim Kutner is the President and CEO of Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Over Mr. Kutner’s sixteen-year career in the industry he built one of the country’s largest origination teams and successfully delivered over five-billion dollars of financing to his clients. Ephraim provides deal expertise to a wide variety of clients from large national REITs to smaller owners and operators of single assets. He maintains warm relationships with principals at many major national, international, private and public funding institutions. He has maintained a close relationship with both HUD national and local offices. Ephraim stays intimately involved with every transaction from inception to closing to servicing and beyond. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Madraigos, a national organization dedicated to helping at risk youth.
Director of Capital Markets
David is the Director of Capital Markets Group at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. David graduated from Touro College with a Bachelor of Arts in finance as well as a Bachelor’s in Talmudic law. David brings his vast experience and expertise to Harborview Capital Partners. He has had a successful tenure for more than a decade in the residential/commercial real estate industry as a real estate banking originator including Wachovia and Wells Fargo Bank where he received numerous awards for production excellence and customer satisfaction quality.
Managing Director and Principal
Jonathan Kutner is the Managing Director and Principal of Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Mr. Kutner has been in the real estate finance business for over a decade, during which he helped build one of the country’s largest origination teams. Jonathan has successfully closed close to three-billion dollars of commercial real estate transactions. He has maintained a close relationship with both HUD national and local offices. Prior to founding Harborview, he was a Senior Managing Director at Greystone. Jonathan is a member of the American Seniors Housing Association, the National Multifamily Housing Council, the Mortgage Bankers Association, has served on the Illinois council on Long Term Care and the New Jersey Healthcare Association. He also serves as a member of the board of Madraigos, a national organization dedicated to helping at risk youth.
Reynaldo Flores is the Chief Underwriter at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Reynaldo has been in the real estate finance industry for over a decade. He is responsible for complete deal structuring, from the initial screening process to loan funding. With his extensive knowledge of HUD and Fannie Mae underwriting, he has structured over two billion dollars of bridge and agency debt for multiple asset types; from multifamily and healthcare facilities to commercial real estate properties.
Chief Financial Officer
Morris A. Goldstein, CPA, CFP is the Chief Financial Officer of Harborview Capital Partners. Mr. Goldstein has been involved in the consulting, accounting and management fields for 30 years. Mr. Goldstein is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. Mr. Goldstein is also a Registered Investment Advisor and has worked with individuals and companies with regard to tax reduction planning, wealth accumulation planning, asset protection and early retirement planning, practice management and business system structures.
Chief Credit Officer
Gershon is the Chief Credit Officer and Financial Analyst at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Gershon specializes in multifamily and healthcare projects as well as commercial, office and retail projects. He has regular interaction with debt and equity providers and carefully crafts tailored capital solutions for each individual project. He is currently working on large portfolio loans and acquisitions and HUD MAP and LEAN projects as well as conventional and bridge debt for refinance, acquisitions and new developments. He has spearheaded the creation of the Harborview Funding mezzanine platform, Harborview Capital’s analytical models and Harborview’s internship programs. He graduated cum laude from Touro College with a degree in Management and Information Systems and holds a Bachelors in Talmudic law from the Shor Yashuv Institute, is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and has completed the MBA FHA Multifamily Underwriter Training course. Prior to his current position at Harborview, Gershon worked in a variety of diverse fields including real estate, structured finance, insurance, marketing and design, data and IT and has served on the boards of several non-profits.
Director of Equity Capital Markets
Jeff combines extensive Sales and Trading experience within the Capital Markets along with substantial knowledge of Real Estate Finance and Investment. In his current role at Harborview Capital Partners, Jeff manages the firm's equity platform and is responsible for the sourcing and placement of both joint venture and preferred equity as well as the origination of mezzanine debt for the firm's clients. Before joining Harborview, he was Managing Director at Banyan Commercial Capital as well as a co-founder of Green Circle Capital Group, based in Boca Raton, FL, where he focused on the origination, financing, sales and trading of both debt and equity for real estate transactions. Prior to these positions, he was a Senior Vice-President at SunTrust Capital Markets, Inc., where his primary responsibility was to generate and develop relationships with various types of counter parties for the purpose of originating, financing, securitizing, buying and selling commercial and residential real estate loans on both a principal, as well as, agency basis. Previously, Jeff had served as a member of the Sales and Trading teams at both Lehman Brothers and Paine Webber (now UBS) in New York. He also spent time managing and trading a private investment fund for a Family Office, as well as, sourcing, analyzing, financing and investing in various real estate opportunities. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Yeshiva University in New York and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses through FINRA.
Director of Marketing
Rayzee Kutner is the Director of Marketing at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. She graduated from Touro College magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in marketing where she served as President of the American Marketing Association Marketing Club. Prior to working at Harborview, she held marketing positions in various industries. She is trained in graphic design, event planning, and public relations. Rayzee is a long-time volunteer for Chai Lifeline, an organization for children battling life threatening illnesses and is a founder and Chief Operating Officer of That Moment Inc., a nonprofit organization for families facing illness.
Avi Begun is a Senior Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Avi has successfully closed in excess of $400 million of transactions since joining Harborview. He prides himself on his client relationships and has a proven track record of meeting their financial needs. Avi graduated from Touro College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business as well as extensive experience in real estate and finance. Prior to working at Harborview, he served as Director of Developments at Besyata Investment Group where he was in charge of acquiring and developing residential properties. He has worked in the Real Estate Industry for several years dealing with acquisitions, developments, management and financing. He utilizes his problem-solving skills to cater to each client's unique concerns. His attention to detail and commitment to professionalism allow him to quickly understand his client's particular issues and to then strategically direct, coordinate and advise accordingly in order to achieve financial success.
Benjamin Begun is a Loan Originator at Harborview Capital Partners. His dynamic problem-solving and communication skills allow him to successfully negotiate financing on his clients’ behalf in all of the commercial real estate asset classes. He prides himself in being entirely committed to his client’s satisfaction and financial success. Prior to joining Harborview, Benjamin worked in sales management, utilizing his organizational and sales skills to innovate an effective business model. Benny is a longtime volunteer for Friendship Circle, an organization for children with special needs.
Jeff Fuchs is a Senior Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Jeff has quickly burst onto the scene as a prolific producer within the commercial real estate finance industry. He prides himself in building national relationships with his clients and is committed to providing customized solutions to meet their needs. Jeff maintains relationships with many major national, regional and local funding institutions and property owners. His clients trust his proven track record of GSE/agency, CMBS, bridge and conventional financing executions. Prior to holding his current position at Harborview, Jeff held positions at Meridian Capital Group and Moinian Group. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, where he achieved inclusion onto the Dean’s List. Jeff is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, as well as several other industry associations.
Eric Gorlechen is a Loan Originator at Harborview. Eric graduated magna cum laude from Touro College, with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Prior to joining Harborview, Eric worked in management, enabling him to hone his problem-solving and communication skills. Eric is well versed in negotiating financing for all of the commercial real estate asset classes.
Judah Katz is a Loan Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Prior to joining the Harborview team Judah spent over a decade fundraising and developing nonprofit organizations and worked internationally to raise Venture Capital for startup companies. Judah has brought his energy and knowledge to Harborview to deliver customized financing solutions to his clients.
Eli Kutner is a Senior Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Prior to his current position at Harborview, Eli spent over a decade in government and academia, concluding his post-graduate research at the University of Oxford. With a keen understanding of financial markets and industry products, Eli executes swiftly and with precision; carrying clients from deal inception to close with concern, commitment, integrity and purpose. The most rewarding aspect of his work is fostering real relationships with clients and helping them realize their goals.
Aviva Offenbacher is a Loan Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. With a focus on building relationships and problem solving, Aviva brings an excitement to working with her clients at helping them secure debt and equity financing. Prior to joining Harborview, Aviva worked at Extell Development Company in acquisitions and earlier at Bach Realty Inc. in investment sales brokerage. Aviva received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Baruch College.
Eli Siebzener is a Loan Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. He graduated cum laude from Touro College with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Eli was admitted to Dean’s list throughout his college career and was a member of the business club in Touro. Eli is a longtime volunteer for the National Conference of Synagogue Youth, a nonprofit organization for Jewish youth. He travels to many cities to mentor high school students. His focus and commitment to his work make him an asset the Harborview team.
David Chiger is a Financial Analyst at Harborview Capital Partners a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. David graduated cum laude from CUNY Queens College with a bachelor’s of business administration, with honors in finance and economics. David was admitted to Dean’s List throughout his college career, and was a member of the Golden Key National Honors Society. Prior to joining Harborview, David worked at Buchbinder & Warren LLC, a Manhattan based full service property management and brokerage firm. During his time there, David was involved in both the property management and sales divisions, where he gained crucial real estate experience that has helped him to excel in his current position. David’s hard work ethic and attention to detail brings value to our team.
Rafael Sod is a Loan Originator at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Rafael is responsible for sourcing debt, mezzanine, and equity financing for all of the commercial real estate asset classes nationwide. Rafael has built long-term relationships with his clients and lending institutions. His strong work ethic and attention to detail enable him to bring the most appropriately fitted debt and equity solutions to his clients.
Robert Kellerman is a Financial Analyst at Harborview Capital Partners. Robert combines extensive data analysis skills along with his lengthy mortgage experience and focuses on sizing up commercial financing requests, providing each client with the best achievable outcome. Before joining Harborview, Robert had been with Deutsche Bank for eleven years where he was an Associate Analyst and worked extensively in the RMBS Division with a focus on loan analysis and helped the bank in its managing and positioning of its mortgage assets. In addition, Robert also worked in the Global Securities Services Division where he provided analysis of existing trends in their sales of financial services. Prior to such, Robert worked at MortgageIT, Inc. (subsequently acquired by Deutsche Bank) and at Fairmont Funding, Ltd. where he operated in research & resolution and loan servicing roles, respectively. Robert received his Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Finance from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
Zeke Rosenblatt is a Financial Analyst at Harborview. Zeke graduated from Queens College magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and was on the Dean’s List. He has extensive experience underwriting and analyzing loans of all variations, from HUD projects to multifamily and commercial loans. Zeke utilizes his strong analysis and communication skills to help ensure the most efficient and cost-effective financing solution is met for his clients. He prides himself on his tireless efforts and is fully committed to client satisfaction. Zeke is a longtime volunteer for Chai Lifeline, an organization for children battling life-threatening illnesses.
Tani is an Analyst at Harborview. He graduated from Queens College cum laude with a BA in applied math. He previously worked at Tax Opportunities America where he increased efficiency and provided valuable insight. Tani leverages his math and computer skills to come up with innovative ideas and solutions. He prides himself on providing a clear and comprehensive picture to make informed decisions.
Bracha fills many roles at Harborview, among them Executive Assistant to the CEO and Managing Director, assistant to the CFO, and Office Administrator. Her responsibilities range from assisting the CFO in company audits, tax preparation, and investor reporting to the oversight of all internal office management, including payroll, A/R, A/P, inventory, scheduling, communications and conference management. Bracha attended both The Ohio State University as well Touro College, graduating from Touro with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management & Accounting.
Maxwell Karsh is a Productions Associate at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Maxwell focuses on aiding and enabling production organization. Prior to his current position at Harborview, he was a partner in Zichronot Video Productions and was responsible for corporate video sales and marketing. Maxwell's studied at several advanced Talmudic institutions nationally and internationally.
Shifra is an Operations Associate at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Shifra graduated from Touro College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Judaic studies and Education. Prior to joining Harborview, Shifra was the Office Manager for Hatzoloh Toronto, a non-profit, emergency medical organization and was responsible for all institutional operations. Shifra's attention to detail, tenacity, organizational skills and communication abilities serve her well in her capacity as Operations Associate at Harborview.
Nina Muller is a Project Manager at Harborview Capital Partners, a full service commercial real estate finance, equity and advisory firm. Nina is responsible for processing all HUD financing, as well as pipeline management from sizing to close. Prior to working at Harborview, Nina worked for an industry competitor. Nina graduated from Queens College Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree.
